ScrollDrill is built to keep your data on your phone. There's no account to create, no server holding your workouts, and no video ever leaves your device. This policy explains exactly what that means, and the few narrow cases where limited data is handled to run the app, the website, and support.
Camera & motion. To verify an exercise, the app runs Apple's on-device vision pipeline to estimate your body pose and count valid reps. This processing happens entirely on your device. No frame, clip, or pose recording is saved or transmitted off the device during normal use.
Screen Time / app blocking. ScrollDrill uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to apply and remove the shield on the apps you choose. This is managed by iOS at the system level. ScrollDrill does not receive the contents of the apps you block, your browsing, or your messages — only the app's own state (which apps you asked it to shield, and whether time is currently unlocked).
On-device data. Your settings, chosen apps, earned and banked minutes, streaks, and history are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes this data.
Purchases (Pro). Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed through the Apple App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles payment and provides the app with your subscription status so Pro features can unlock. We do not collect or store your payment information.
The marketing website at scrolldrill.com is a static site. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. As with any website, the hosting and security provider may automatically process standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and protect the site against abuse. If you email us, we receive your message and email address in order to reply.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. Apple processes purchases under its own privacy policy. Our website's hosting provider processes technical request data as a service provider to keep the site online.
Camera frames are not retained at all — they are discarded as they are processed. On-device data (stats, streaks, settings) remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you and maintain our records.
ScrollDrill is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because the app doesn't hold an account or a personal profile, most of your data is controlled directly by you on your device: adjust or clear it in the app, or delete the app to remove it. For any privacy question or request, contact us at the email below and we'll help.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
