Set your phone on a stable surface with a side-on view of your whole body, in decent light. The counter deliberately pauses when it can't see you clearly and never guesses — so if it stops, reframe until you're fully in view. Each rep also needs a minimum of about one second and full range of motion to count.
ScrollDrill uses Apple's Screen Time to apply the shield, so it needs Screen Time permission the first time. Grant it when prompted (or in iOS Settings → Screen Time), then choose the app you want to gate. Tapping that app afterward shows the ScrollDrill shield instead of your feed.
No — ScrollDrill is completely free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
Everything ScrollDrill tracks — stats, streaks, banked minutes, settings — is stored on your device. Deleting the app removes it. Camera frames are never stored in the first place. See our Privacy Policy for details.
